In
order to better serve our clients, we have outlined our
companys policies and procedures.These
policies also address many of our frequently asked
questions.Please
read all of these procedures prior to requesting service
with our company.
HOURS
OF OPERATION:
Orders
may be placed via phone or e-mail
Telephone
orders may be placed between 9:00 am 6:00 pm
(GMT+8),
Monday thru Friday, and 10:00 am 2:00 pm (GMT+8) on
Saturdays
Orders
will be processed between 9:00 am 6:00 pm (GMT+8),
Monday through Friday, 10:00 am 2:00 pm (GMT+8) on
Saturdays, excluding Sundays and Holidays.
PROJECT
REQUEST FORM:
A
signed and dated project request form is required before
any services are commenced.This
form details specific information needed to complete the
order.
The
following instructions must be included in the detailed
instructions box:
Specific
formatting details
Names
of speakers, including spellings, and individuals
names who are referenced on the tape
PRICING:
Note
that all quotations are in US Dollars.
Services
that charge an hourly rate require a minimum of two hours
of service. Services are billed in 1/2 hour
increments. Services that charge by page count
require a minimum of 10 typed pages.
The
fees listed below assume the following:

The
source document must contain clear, legible writing

are charged based on the number of typed pages, not
the number of pages in the source document

RETAINER
PLANS:
For
clients with on-going business, we offer several retainer
plans.Monthly
retainer payments will be invoiced two weeks prior to the
end of the month and are due and payable prior to the
first day of each month of service.
Retainer plans require a minimum two month contract.
Unused
retainer hours are non-refundable.The
retainer plans are listed below:
10
hours per month: 5% discount off of hourly rate
20
hours per month: 10% discount off of hourly rate
40
hours per month: 15% discount off of hourly rate
60
hours per month: 20% discount off of hourly rate
PAYMENT:
The
forms of payments accepted are: Paypal,
Cross Cheques,
Money Orders, and Maybank2u.com.
A
4% surcharge will be assessed to all Paypal payments
A
$25 fee will be charged for bounced checks (at which
time cash or money order is required)
A
monthly late fee will be assessed to any overdue
invoices.These
fees are listed below:

Resume
payments are due prior to completion of the project
Individuals-All
other services require a 50% deposit.The
remainder of the balance is due upon completion of the
project.
Companies
not on retainer plan-An invoice will be submitted with
the completed work.Payment
is strictly due within 14 days from the date of the
invoice.
PRIVACY
Personal
information received via this website will be used
only for the purpose it was received and not passed to
third parties except as required by law.
We
do not control the privacy policies of business
affiliates, advertisers, or any other sites to which a
hyperlink is provided.
REFUND
POLICY:
Final
responsibility for proofreading errors in completed
work rests with the client.
We
guarantee the quality of our work.If
you are not completely satisfied, return the work to
us within 72 hours and we will make the necessary
changes to satisfy your needs.
We
will not make any refunds for completed services under
any circumstances.
DELIVERY:
Clients
may not drop off and pick up their own work.
Clients
may not stop by Studiotypist services offices to
discuss projects, as Studiotypist services is an
internet-based establishment.Projects
can be discussed via telephone or e-mail.
Delivery
must be arranged via e-mail, fax, or mail.
All
shipments are made at the customers expense and
risk.
The
method and route of shipment are at the discretion of
Studiotypist services, unless the customer supplies
noted instructions.
DISCLAIMER:
Studiotypist
services will not be held liable for loss or
damage of any kind resulting from documents which are
lost or delayed in transit, whether such transit is
electronic, fax, mail, or otherwise.
Studiotypist
services will not be held liable for any
incidental, consequential, or indirect damages
(including without limitation, damages for loss of
profits, business interruption, loss of information,
plagiarism, etc )
Studiotypist
services will not be held liable for
typographical omissions or errors.
Studiotypist
services reserves the right to decline to
perform any project at its discretion.
